Figure out how many minutes or hours you will take between classes.Make note of any places you will need to go.

Take a general ed requirement your first semester and get it out of the way. If you have to have the class for your requirements, work on knocking those out early to make room for more enjoyable coursework. You can always purchase used textbooks. The textbooks you need to buy can be outrageous. If you are already paying a fortune for college, then you need every buck you can save. Shop your university's bookstore or online retailers and brick and mortar stores that have used books.

You can get experience in the field that you will be doing after college. You may even go back once done for a long-term position.There should be a department on campus that can help you with placement, so get started!
